International Business and Trade Department


The process of globalization of local economies have exposed the companies to  the impacts arising from global production and trade . Today, the qualification of people who firms need to compete at  the international level have changed because of integration of the world markets and, hence, the free  movement  of capital, labor, goods and services, and information in the international markets. From this point of view, our department of  International Business and Trade was founded in 2013 under Business School to educate young people needed by our country in the global competition.

One of the most important features of our program is that it is designed  based on an interdisciplinary approach required for success in global competition. In addition to the core courses such as international economics, international business, international trade, business English, international finance, international business environment, there are also some different courses like environment and human factor in the global businesses, cultural differences and trade, which are very important to recognize the global business environment. The most important advantages of our students have are that they can transfer their theoretical knowledge into  practice with internship opportunities in cooperation with university and  industries in Bursa and İnegol which constitutes an important place in terms of the country's export potential and, hence, have more  job opportunities after graduation.

As a result of both theoretical and practical skills and experiences gained during university training, our graduates of International Business and Trade Programme have the opportunity to work in many areas in both national and international markets. In this context, they are employed in the departments of foreign trade, accounting, finance, production, human resources, logistics, management, marketing of national / international companies, including international organizations such as  the World Trade Organization, the UN, banks and professional organizations  such as the chambers of commerce and industry. Besides, they are also employed in the public sector. In this sense, they can work in Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Undersecretariat of Treasury, State Planning Organization, Turkey's Foreign Agencies, economic development agencies  etc.
